Preparation plus cooking time is about 30 minutes. Makes one and a ¼ cups. 

  

This recipe makes a great healthy snack or sprinkle on salads or veggies.

INGREDIENTS

2 table spoons of brown sugar

1 tablespoon of gluten free tamari

1 teaspoon of ground cumin

½ teaspoon of ground cinnamon

½ teaspoon of chilli flakes

1 cup of pumpkin seeds (pepitas)

1 cup of sunflower seeds

1 tablespoon of linseeds

1 tablespoon of white chia seeds

1. Pre-heat oven to 180°C (350°F)

2. Combine; sugar, tamari, spices and chilli in a large bowl. Add seeds and mix well.

3. Spread mixture on baking-paper-lined oven tray. Bake for 20 minutes, turning and separating the seeds until golden and toasted. Cool.

4. Store in an air tight jar for up to three weeks.
